About Playcritik
Original game reviews, straight from the source.
Who writes the reviews
Aymen Sakouhi · Writer · Games Hobbyist
Aymen Sakouhi is the writer behind Playcritik and a lifelong games hobbyist. He writes every review here, in English and Arabic, grounding each verdict in licensed, first-party facts rather than marketing spin or another outlet's copy.
Where our facts come from
Playcritik aggregates facts, release dates, developers and publishers, platforms, genres, official scores, and official media, from licensed, first-party sources such as the Steam Web API and publisher press materials. Every image is drawn from official channels and carries attribution.
We do not scrape, copy, or rewrite other outlets’ review articles. Our editorial prose, impressions, pros and cons, and verdicts, is original and written from those factual inputs. See our reviews for the results.
How we score
Scores run from 0 to 10 with a one-line rationale, reflecting our editorial take on the whole package. When an aggregate critic score exists, we surface it as a factual data point alongside, never in place of, our own verdict.
Advertising & sponsorship
Placements are clearly labeled. Sponsored links use appropriate rel="sponsored" attributes, and any per-review background sponsorship is disclosed with a “Presented by” note. Sponsorship never influences a score.
